I've setup the registry entry SQLPATH in Win10 with the directory containing my scripts. I've pasted the directory location in the registry into file explorer and the correct location is opened up!
But when I open up a command prompt and start a SQLPlus session the login.sql script doesn't automatically run.
C:\Users\username>sqlplus codd/codd@orcl
When I explicitly run the login script within the session above it runs fine!
So why doesn't it run when I call SQLPlus?

Which version of SQL*Plus?
I never saw it not working from version 8.0 (I didn't remember if this key existed in version 7) to 12.1 and from Windows NT 3.51 to Windows 7, so I tend to think you did something wrong.
Did you modify the key before or after starting SQL*Plus?
Did you modify the key before or after starting the DOS box if you are running in DOS mode?
